I've spent the last week in bed, dying.

Haven't seen bestfriend of boyfriend since that fateful night last Friday when tossing my dinner into the upstairs toilet served as an unwelcome omen for what was too come. Unfortunately though I have seen entirely too much of a certain someone who shares my birthday and thinks he's prettier than Devi Lishone.

Tried some Pepperup Potion but I think it made my liver explode. At least that's what it felt like. Leave it to me to be allergic to popular magical remedies.

I need boyfriend hugs. Or applesauce. Both would be nice!

I did it. I quit the videostore. I am a free woman! But hopefully not for long. I put an ad in the Daily Prophet to do tutoring. I haven't been doing anything magical lately and I think this would be the perfect way to keep my brain from turning to mush.

Now I just wait for the Owls...Please let there be Owls...

Theo's just come home and is crashing about downstairs and yelling about something. I can't quite make it out. Not sure if I want too.

I'm thinking about quitting the videostore. But I'll do it the sneaky way and find another job first so I'm not in that unsettling in-between place. I just feel so disconnected from everything while working with Muggles all day. Mind you, many wizards have come in as well but it's just not the same as working someplace like Diagon Alley. Maybe Flourish and Blots could do with a bookshelf duster?

You know it's February when you can't go in to a store without being visually assaulted by small naked children with wings, colour clashing decorations and little teddy bears with 'I ♥ you beary much' embroidered across the tummy.

Ahh. Valentines day. I've never really been all that fond of it. And I'm a bit apprehensive about bringing it up with Gabe. He hasn't mentioned it, so I'll just keep my mouth shut.I won't mention it Maybe it'll pass just like any other day.

But I bought him some DVDs and one of those stupid bears just in case. XD

Had an amazing birthday. I'm actually really glad that Theo arranged the party. Of course I'll never tell him that, but the sentiment is there.

Aidan McCloy, the Quidditch player that Theo is practically in love with gave me a spa weekend! I sent Ellie an Owl this morning asking her to come with. A whole weekend of girl stuff seems long overdue.

*wraps herself in the blanket Gabe gave her and makes herself comfortable on the couch with a mug of tea and her book, smirking as she remembers the conversation she had with Gabe at the pub*

Birthday's coming up. On Sunday to be exact. Theo has gone batshitcrazy and has owled just about everyone in the UK for a big party at the Three Broomsticks. Don't know whether I'm going to go or not.

What am I talking about? Of course I'll go. He'll talk me in to it. He always does. Should be fun, though. I hope. XD

I've still got to get him a present. O.o Christmas shopping was hard enough! I ended up getting him Quidditch stuff even though he works at the bloody supply store. I fail as a twin. Aren't we supposed to have some sort of magical connection thing going on?

I really really hate the underground. Much like I hated the subway back home. I will never understand why people feel the need to sit right beside you when there is a WHOLE TRAIN CAR of seat available.

But it will not ruin my day!

*exits the tube station and hurries over to the Tower of London's main admissions entrance to meet Gabe*

So. Boyfriend. Wow. Never had one of those before! O.o Do I even have one now? He only just asked me out... are going out and being a girlfriend two different questions? I wish I had mum here to talk to about this. Then again, if I did, I'd still be in Toronto and therefore wouldn't be in this situation.

TOOK THAT BLOODY GORILLA COSTUME WITH HIM.

Got a totally random OWL from Adie McCormack today about some music festival. I can't decide if someone's just having us on, it got sent to us by mistake, or it's really real. Theo really wants to go. I guess it would be fun. We could borrow some of Uncle Max's camping stuff. He's got tons of it in the garage. Sleeping bags, lanterns, heating pads, bug zappers...

And it would be a thousand times more fun than working all weekend and renting out horror films to teenagers looking for cheap thrills. O.o

Theo is way more excited for Hallowe'en than any nineteen year old boy should be. And I thought I was bad. Uncle Max nearly went in to Cardiac Arrest when a shrunken head appeared in his cereal bowl. Groups of teacups-turned-bats are currently nesting in the living room (Vlad is terrified of them >:O)and every time the doorbell rings this ear drum destroying SHRIEK is heard throughout the house.

I might just go crazy in the next two weeks. A good kind of crazy...but crazy nonetheless. :D

I shouldn't complain, though. It's better, or quieter I should say, than being at home. Uncle Max was less than pleased when he found out that Theo wants to put camouflaging wards around the backyard so he can hold his Quidditch practices there. Theo is set on the location, Uncle Max won't have it and I just got out of there as fast as I could. Fights with Theo often end with him throwing things and that almost always ends in tears. Theo's tears. I, like Switzerland, am staying neutral. I have no opinion on the matter. It's safer that way.

Haven't seen Gabe or Ellie in ages. Well, a week, but I can only stand Theo for so long before I need to a) commit a homicide or b) spend time with people I'm not related to.

Martine's birthday party was great! I don't know how Theo managed to actually make friends with a female without sending her running for the hills, but I'm glad he did. She's adorable. And she was a Ravenclaw, like mum was.

Vlad is itching for something to do. I told him if he stayed in his corner under the desk I'd give him some letters to deliver. He nearly made off with some poor man's hair piece this morning. I had to do a memory charm on him so he couldn't call the head office. As boring as it is I would like to keep my job.

Boys are so difficult to shop for. It's all 'this colour is too girly!', 'this fabric is too girly!', 'this pot of aesthetically pleasing flowers is too girly!'.

But despite all of that, thanks to Ellie and I, Gabe now has sufficient flat decour. Ellie picked out this AMAZING giant fluffy white rug. It's nearly twice the size of any of us and will cover nearly all of Gabe's living room space.

That being said...it's getting late and I told Gabe I'd go over to help him decorate. Any excuse to go there, really. I know I agreed to stay friends and I'm glad because I don't think I could stand not talking to him, but sometimes it's nice just to be near him.

I'll apparate over as soon as I'm done my toast. :D
